Alright. One of these days I’ll make a post on our adventures in solid foods with Miss Lo. I’ve had a few friends ask for recipes on foods we’ve tried with her, so I figured I’d add them here so I can reference them later, too. On the old blog I had (that I failed at keeping up), I tried to post recipes a lot when I made my own version. It helps me to remember how I made it last time, because I have a terrible memory with things like that. But I want this blog to really focus on the baby and our learning to do this whole parenting thing. That being said, I really do plan on having a post about our approach to foods, because I know it’s an exciting, albeit concerning, decision for all parents!
A quick summary is that we do a combination of both homemade purees (i.e. ‘normal’ mushy baby food) and baby-led weaning (i.e. give the baby real finger food and let them have control of their eating.) I fully intend of explaining our take on this in depth later, but a short Google search will direct you to lots of information on it. Onto the first recipe!
